洛根Farro’s intrigue for design can be attributed to their love and appreciation of fine art since childhood. It was important for Farro to attend college and earn their degree to combine art and design in a way that helps them reach their career goals while supporting their interests.

“Being a multimedia marketing major has allowed me to work on creative projects, while actively learning about the marketing and business that goes into graphic design.”

Farro appreciates the opportunity that the SEED Scholarship program has provided them to attend college during unsure times, specifically the COVID-19 pandemic, while relieving them of the financial burden that often comes with pursuing a degree. They also viewed Delaware Tech’s multiple campus locations as an added bonus that made it easier for them to attend their necessary classes.

“Choosing Delaware Tech just made the most sense to me,” Farro said.

To any prospective students who are hesitant to commit to a future career path, Farro recommends Delaware Tech as a solution. “It is a great option to be able to try out multiple majors before narrowing down what you want to do in life.”

Since beginning their studies 在学院, Farro has felt more confident in speaking up and being more open to share their thoughts and ideas in group settings. They also value the feedback from instructors and peers on their creative projects because it has improved the quality of their work.

Farro plans to enter the workforce following graduation from Delaware Tech, but is also determined to pursue their dream of becoming an artist along the way.

“Whether it’s paint, pencils, or pixels, I will always create. Being an artist is one of my greatest goals in life and I’m sure I’ll get there one way or another.”
